The present work contains writings by Elliott, Julia Ward Howe (poet, abolitionist, and women’ Additional title-page illustrated in full-color, black-and-white frontispiece, and 120 full-page illustrations in addition to numerous illustrations in text. Light wear to corners and spine ends. A few trivial tears to lower margin of title-page, very slight toning to edges of endpapers. A very good, bright copy. Original mustard brown decorated in silver and gilt, gilt-lettered spine, bevelled edges. All edges gilt. Green and gold floral patterned endpapers. Octavo. 320 pp. (Item ID: 16474)
