Anne Bachelier is an internationally recognized artist. Her personal exhibition list includes: New York, San Francisco, Paris, New Orleans, Grenoble, Honfleur, and Maastricht. She has also illustrated Robin McKinley's Rose Daughter (a re-telling of Beauty and the Beast, 1998), La Princesse de Cire/The Princess of Wax (specifically written for Bachelier to illustrate, 2003), and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland/Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There (2005) has been referred to as the only "Alice" where the illustrator has enhanced the story.
