Locker-Lampson’s library was particularly rich in Shakespeare and Elizabethan literature, though it also included English literature to his own day, and drawings and pictures. A preface by Locker-Lampson notes that the catalogue was edited by Alfred W. Pollard and R.H. Lister. Andrew Lang contributes a poem to Locker-Lampson, and one on the Rowfant books.
