Ritchie’s reminiscences of Merle Armitage (1893-1975), book designer, publisher, art collector, and theatre designer and executive. Armitage, who was born in Mason City, Iowa and began his career in New York, spent many years in Los Angeles, and was part of a circle which included Ritchie, Jake Zeitlin, and Lawrence Clark Powell. This is probably the longest publication of Ritchie’s Laguna Verde Imprenta.
