Goulding (1842-1909) was the printmaker to Whistler, Seymour Haden, and other significant artists. This book contains biographical information about these authors, as well as much on the theory and practice of copperplate printing, reprinting a lecture by Goulding to the Art Workers’ Guild. It also includes a catalogue of Goulding’s etched work.
