We were unable to learn anything about the author of The ABC in Verse from the resources available to us. The present work contains the alphabet, both in upper and lower case, and a series of rhyming verses to accompany each woodcut letter (for example, “A was Aunt Agatha, / a benevolent nun; B was a butler, / Who was fond of his fun”).
