Warrington: Printed and Sold by John Harrison, for Maria Bradbur, 1825. An abridged English edition, notable for its being translated and edited by a woman. We have been unable to find out anything about Maria Bradburn, probably because this is such a scarce work. There are no copies recorded in OCLC. OCLC also lists no other books in which Maria Bradburn had any part. Binding extremities a bit worn and toned. Crude repair to upper title-page. Occasional light offsetting, very minor foxing to endpapers and gutter margins. Scattered light pencil marginalia. Small tear to lower corner of pp. 87-88. A very good copy, clean and free of browning. Original blue paneled calf tooled elaborately in blind, gilt-lettered spine. Octavo. [6], 148 pp. Item #16471
