One of three hundred and fifty copies published as a keepsake for the Society of Typographic Arts in Chicago. It contains some of Hammer's thoughts regarding the American Uncial, the typeface he created. The dialogue is between a printer (Hammer) and a paleographer (E.A. Lowe). This was the first public use of the uncial type.
