Although the colophon states that this is the first use of "Vicenza", Mardersteig's Arrighi type with modified ascenders, which terminate in serifs instead of blobs, "Vicenza" was n fact used in the colophon and imprint of The Calligraphic Models of Ludovico degli Arrighi. This, however, is a more extensive use of that type.
