John Richardson (1647-c1725) was a fellow of Emmanuel College, Cambridge, and rector of the college, though he was ejecgted as a nonjuror. The present work, first published in 1700, was a refutation of John Toland's Amyntor or a Defense of Milton's Life (1699).
