Sixteen fine engraved head- and tail-pieces, including portraits of James II, Cromwell, Charles II, the Earl of Shaftesbury, Chaucer, Boccaccio and Ovid. Minor stains to covers, a little offsetting to first and last few leaves from binding. A very good, set. Contemporary smooth tan calf, gilt spines with burgundy and green morocco labels.
