Title-pages in black and red, with Pickering anchor and dolphin device. Includes the editor’s preface, Apparatus Hellenisticus (a list of books consulted), the text, with running commentary, followed by a list of Citata et parallela. Binding extremities rubbed in places, former owner’s signature, dated 1890. A few neat ink marginal notations in Greek. A very good set. Contemporary calf, ruled in blind and with blindstamped leaf and cross ornaments, black and burgundy morocco spine labels, edges stained red.
