Locke’s Essay for the Understanding of St. Paul’s Epistles; and Le Clerc on Inspiration.

Boston: Wells and Lilly, 1820. First edition thus. This essay was first published as an appendix to the posthumous Locke publication, A Paraphrase and Notes on the Epistles of St. Paul...(1707). Contemporary ownership signature on front pastedown. A good copy. Original boards, uncut, rebacked with modern board, paper spine label with author’s name in manuscript. Twelvemo. 130 pp. Item #14372
