Publisher’s brown leather over brown cloth boards, gilt spine. A few light scuffs to spine. Large octavo. [xvi], 232,  pp. Frontispiece etching entitled “Fairy Connoisseurs inspecting Mr. Locker’s Collection of Drawings, &c., &c.” This plate was designed by George Cruikshank in 1868 but was not used until this publication. Locker-Lampson’s library was particularly rich in Shakespeare and Elizabethan literature, though it also included English literature to his own day, and drawings and pictures. A preface by Locker-Lampson notes that the catalogue was edited by Alfred W. Pollard and R.H. Lister. Andrew Lang contributes a poem to Locker-Lampson, and one on the Rowfant books.
